Case Management Specialist III (Level 3)

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Case Management Specialist III to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and its Office of Security (SIS) in Springfield, VA. The role manages the Level 2 Case Management Team and provides case management support to the established PERSEC program, ensuring timely security support for internal and external taskings, projects and programs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Case Management Level 2 Team and train contractor staff as needed
• Support PERSEC case management briefings, reports, correspondence and security procedures and guidance
• Maintain PeopleSoft security systems of records, SISP SharePoint pages and internal file folders, and keep case data current and accurate in the PeopleSoft investigations and adjudication modules
• Track, prioritize and monitor cases so they are completed within IRTPA mandates, and assist government PERSEC team leads in improving the case management system
• Prepare weekly activity reports and the DNI quarterly metrics reports, and monthly metrics slides for SISP leadership
• Elevate bottlenecks to leadership, maintain tracking and status reports, and keep shared files up to date

Required profile

• Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to undergo a polygraph exam
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field to personnel security
• 7-10 years of significant personnel security experience in the DoD/IC
• Clear, concise writing skills and strong organizational skills to meet timelines and Federal Investigative Standards quality standards

Required skills

• Significant experience with the Microsoft Suite
• Attention to detail in applying personnel security case management methodologies
