Career Services Advisor – Student Placement

About the role

The Career Services Advisor supports the Director of Career Services in delivering programs that help graduates secure employment and advance the college’s mission. This full‑time, on‑site position is based at the Alhambra campus and focuses on coordinating career‑related activities for students and alumni.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute on‑campus career events such as resume workshops, interview preparation sessions, career fairs, open houses, and alumni luncheons.
• Collaborate with program chairs to arrange guest speakers, workshops, and field‑trip opportunities that align with academic programs.
• Monitor and manage social‑networking and job‑search platforms as assigned.
• Maintain regular contact with alumni to track job‑search progress and provide assistance.
• Assist the Director in developing and promoting services that facilitate graduate placement.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience in career services, student advising, or related educational support.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
