Career Coach II – Engineering, IT/CS/Cyber & Aeronautics

About the role

The Career Coach II supports students and alumni in engineering, IT/CS/Cyber, and aeronautics fields to translate their education and experience into successful careers. This full‑time, twelve‑month staff position is part of Liberty University’s Career Services team and aligns with the university’s Christian mission.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personalized career coaching and group workshops for students and alumni.
• Collaborate with the coaching and employer‑relations teams to design and deliver specialized career development programs.
• Develop and maintain relationships between Career Services and academic departments.
• Plan and execute career fairs, employer information sessions, and other career‑related events.
• Track coaching interactions, evaluate effectiveness, and continuously improve services.
• Mentor and train Career Services staff on specific topics.
• Represent Liberty University professionally in all interactions and promotional activities.

Required profile

• Commitment to Liberty University’s Christian values and mission.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively across campus units.
• Willingness to appear in photos or videos for promotional purposes.
