Care Strategy & Operations Lead / Director

About the role

Sailor Health is building a new care model for aging adults, combining behavioral health, advocacy, wellness classes, and AI care agents on a virtual platform. As Director / Manager of Clinical Operations, you will own the care model, scale therapy and advocacy services nationwide, and launch new offerings that define the company’s future.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build the end‑to‑end care model across therapy, advocacy, and case management, collaborating with clinical, operations, legal, and engineering teams.
• Scale the fast‑growing healthcare advocacy line into a repeatable national operation with robust workflows, playbooks, and metrics.
• Shape AI copilots to offload administrative tasks from clinicians, enabling more patient‑focused care.
• Lead, grow, and manage the case management team, establishing triage and escalation protocols for high‑acuity cases.
• Integrate clinicians and care teams into a unified whole‑person care model that addresses mental, physical, and daily‑life needs.
• Track quality and safety metrics, ensuring compliance with clinical, privacy, and Medicare standards.

Required profile

• 4‑12 years of experience building and scaling clinical operations in a high‑growth healthcare company.
• Player‑coach mindset: able to lead a team with clarity while rolling up sleeves for tough cases.
• Strong communicator who can align clinicians, engineers, lawyers, and founders toward common goals.
• Comfortable thriving in ambiguous, fast‑paced environments and creating structure from chaos.
• First‑principles thinker who evaluates trade‑offs and makes defensible decisions.
• Deep personal commitment to improving outcomes for older adults.
