Care Partner (STNA) - Senior Living

About the role

Experience Senior Living is looking for a Care Partner (STNA) to join its team in Marysville. The Care Partner supports residents' personal care and daily life, promotes their independence and helps them stay engaged in community life.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living as assigned and requested, in line with the service plan
• Perform daily housekeeping and laundry duties as assigned
• Review and take part in 24-hour reports, shift-change reports and verbal reports as needed
• Help residents to and from scheduled life-enrichment programs and promote their personal choices, independence and spiritual needs
• Prioritize tasks and communicate to the Director of Health & Wellness and other departments when residents' needs change
• Respond promptly to resident pendant/wearable calls and ensure infection control practices are followed
• Report accidents and incidents to the supervisor, maintain resident confidentiality and respect residents' rights
• Prepare for emergencies such as fires and disasters

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant / Home Health Aide preferred but not required
• License or certificate for medication assistance preferred where applicable
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Able to read and write simple instructions and correspondence, and to work varied schedules including weekends, evenings and holidays
• Neat appearance in line with the dress code

Required skills

• Ability to connect with residents and help them transition from home to community
• Effective communication with residents, families, management, vendors and outside contacts
• Knowledge of customer service principles
• Completion of all state and company training programs
