Calibration Process Optimization Internship (8 months, 40 hrs/week)

About the role

Join Bosch's Calibration Engineering group in Farmington Hills for an 8‑month internship focused on optimizing calibration processes for power solutions. You will work on real‑world projects that blend software development, data analysis, and automotive engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and improve calibration tools to increase efficiency.
• Create and program automated test scripts for engine and vehicle validation.
• Explore data, apply machine‑learning techniques, and build predictive models.
• Perform data mining, pattern recognition, and Software‑in‑the‑Loop (SIL) simulation testing.
• Support learning events such as hack‑athons, coding, and AI training sessions.
• Assist calibration engineers with daily tasks like flashing vehicles, data analysis, and software validation.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a Bachelors or Masters in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least one semester completed and a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Minimum of 1 year of academic or industry experience with software languages and operating systems.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work 35‑40 hours per week.
• Valid US driver’s license.
