Calibration Engineering Intern – 8 Month Project

About the role

The internship is an 8‑month, full‑time position (40 hours per week) in Bosch’s Calibration Engineering group at the North America headquarters in Farmington Hills, Michigan. You will work on powertrain calibration projects, supporting testing, data analysis and software validation.

Key responsibilities

• Support powertrain calibration projects, including in‑vehicle and engine/chassis dyno testing and data analysis.
• Adapt and program automated test scripts for calibration activities.
• Assist calibration engineers with daily tasks such as flashing vehicles, analyzing data, and validating software.
• Test and validate on‑board diagnostics (OBD) systems.
• Participate in test trips under hot, cold, and high‑altitude conditions.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
• At least one semester completed with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Good knowledge of electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Experience with vehicles or engines.
• Proficiency in Python or C++.
• Must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid US driver’s license, and be able to work 35‑40 hours per week.
