CAD Engineer Team Lead – Interior Glass Partitions

About the role

Crystalia Glass, a supplier of premium glass and aluminum structures for residential and commercial projects, is looking for a CAD Engineer Team Lead for interior glass partitions and glass production. The position is full-time and remote, with an 8:30 am to 5 pm schedule in the New York (EST) time zone, under a B2B contract (sole proprietorship or corporate entity).

Key responsibilities

• Daily review of active projects in ClickUp, distribution of workloads, monitoring of task execution and tracking of strict deadlines.
• Quality control of drawings, checking project documentation and ensuring compliance before final delivery.
• Mentoring project engineers on complex or non-standard projects, taking part in node development and leading daily and weekly team syncs.
• Customizing and maintaining workspaces in Slack and ClickUp, building internal document templates and updating working groups.
• Preparing weekly and monthly progress and efficiency reports for the Head of Engineering.
• Working with measurements, sketches and diagrams in the Imperial (US) system.

Required profile

• Higher technical education (Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a relevant engineering degree).
• 2-3+ years of experience as a project engineer with a proven record of delivering complex projects.
• Strong background in task management and time-tracking software, and experience creating internal onboarding and training materials such as video instructions, checklists and technical templates.
• Ability to analyze designs for cost, time and resource optimization, work independently, make firm technical decisions and resolve bottlenecks.
• Experience collaborating with Project Managers, estimators, suppliers, manufacturing and site installation teams.
• English B2+ and Russian or Ukrainian C1+.

Required skills

• Confident use of core engineering software: AutoCAD 2D, SolidWorks 3D or similar.
• Understanding of core engineering design principles.
