C++ Embedded Software Engineer – Drone Stack

About the role

As a C++ Embedded Software Engineer you will design and integrate autonomy and vehicle intelligence systems for unmanned aerial vehicles. Working on the Drone Stack, you will bridge hardware and software to deliver robust solutions for defense and commercial customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop modular autonomy capabilities on embedded Linux and other hardware platforms.
• Integrate C++ code with sensors, datalinks, PNT/GPS/INS, and autopilot systems.
• Perform software‑in‑the‑loop (SIL) and hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) testing, and support live flight tests on UAVs.
• Collaborate with autonomy engineers, 3rd‑party UAS vendors, and cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot integration issues.
• Conduct system‑level setup, validation, and customer‑facing demonstrations.

Required profile

• Strong background in embedded C++ development for real‑time systems.
• Experience with Linux‑based embedded platforms and hardware‑software integration.
• Passion for robotics and autonomy, with ability to work on complex UAV projects.
