Buyer I – Integrated Supply

About the role

Vallen is looking for an on‑site Buyer I to join its Integrated Supply team. You will work directly at a customer location, ensuring that product and material purchases meet the company’s standards for price, quality, timing, and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Execute procurement activities to satisfy current and forecasted demand for stock and non‑stock items.
• Review and approve inventory forecasts and daily replenishment recommendations generated by Vallen’s ERP system.
• Analyze existing orders and determine actions for expediting or de‑expediting to optimize delivery.
• Create purchase requisitions and vendor purchase orders.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend vendors or specific items to ensure compliance with specifications, quality, pricing, and delivery standards.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow purchasing procedures.
• Understanding of supply‑chain concepts and inventory management.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Required skills

• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
