Business Unit Director, Commercial Aftermarket Airframe

About the role

The Business Unit Director, Commercial Aftermarket Airframe will lead the Commercial Aftermarket Airframe segment, setting strategic direction, driving sales growth and ensuring P&L accountability. This senior leadership position reports to the Group Vice President & General Manager and is based onsite in Buffalo, NY with international travel.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial aftermarket airframe strategy aligned with group goals.
• Lead all aspects of the business unit including financial performance, program execution, customer relationships and talent development.
• Ensure integrity of customer demand commitments and act as the escalation point for customer issues.
• Facilitate collaboration across program teams, sales, supply chain, quality, operations, engineering and customers.
• Contribute to strategic planning, business performance reviews, capital planning and execution as a member of the Commercial Aftermarket Leadership Team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations Management or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience with at least 5 years in a dedicated leadership role.
• Experience in aerospace, defense or highly regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong executive communication, negotiation and stakeholder influence skills.
• Proven business and financial acumen, including contract and risk management.
