Business Unit Controller

About the role

The organization is seeking a Business Unit Controller to lead accounting operations, month‑end close, consolidations, financial reporting, and internal controls for a complex multi‑entity business unit. This highly visible position partners directly with executive finance leadership and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations and manage the accounting and accounts payable teams.
• Drive month‑end close processes and ensure accurate consolidations across multiple entities.
• Prepare and deliver financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain robust internal controls and support readiness for a future IPO.
• Collaborate with executive finance and operational leaders to provide strategic financial insight.

Required profile

• CPA or CMA preferred.
• 8+ years of accounting/finance experience with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong background in multi‑entity or complex operational environments.
• Proven expertise in consolidations, month‑end close, and financial reporting.
