Business Management Instructor

About the role

The Business Management Instructor provides classroom instruction, prepares syllabi and lesson plans, and develops program goals for students at Central Georgia Technical College. Working under general supervision, the instructor evaluates student progress and ensures alignment with current industry practices.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver instruction in business management courses across day, evening, and online formats.
• Prepare and maintain syllabi, lesson plans, and grading records.
• Develop program objectives and assess student achievement.
• Use appropriate teaching techniques and assessment tools.
• Participate in professional development and collaborate with college personnel.
• Complete required reports, invoices, and inventory of assigned property.
• Travel within the college’s service area as needed.

Required profile

• Earned master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Ability to teach all phases of the curriculum and apply current industry procedures.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Compliance with Technical College System of Georgia policies and accreditation standards.
