Business Management Adjunct Instructor

About the role

The State of Georgia, through West Georgia Technical College, seeks a Business Management Adjunct Instructor to deliver theory and practical applications in business education. This on‑campus, face‑to‑face position offers a $1,650 payment per 3‑credit‑hour course.

Key responsibilities

• Provide instruction in classroom, lab, or field environments that simulate industry settings.
• Prepare course syllabi using the provided template and incorporate current technology.
• Evaluate student progress, grade coursework promptly, and ensure safety and security requirements are met.
• Meet with students, staff, and other educators to discuss instructional programs and related issues.
• Maintain documentation, administrative reports, and stay current with discipline trends.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Business Education, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Preferred: PhD in the teaching discipline, relevant certifications (IC3, Microsoft Certified Application Specialist, Microsoft Office Specialist), and postsecondary teaching experience.
