About the role

Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP is seeking a Counsel‑track attorney to join its Business Litigation Practice Group in New York. The role focuses on representing corporate and financial institution clients in single‑plaintiff litigation, particularly matters involving consumer loans and mortgage‑related disputes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and defend litigation matters for companies and financial institutions.
• Handle cases involving consumer loan contracts, loan modifications, wrongful foreclosures, and other mortgage‑related issues.
• Appear in state and federal courts throughout New York.
• Take and defend depositions, draft pleadings, and oversee civil procedure matters.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant litigation experience.
• Licensed to practice in New York; additional licenses in Massachusetts, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania are a plus.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent written and oral communication skills.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of civil procedure.
• Experience with depositions and pleading drafting.
