Business Insurance Client Advisor

About the role

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is hiring a Business Insurance Client Advisor in Clearwater, Florida. The advisor manages a high-profile, complex book of business that generates substantial revenue, combining the personalized service of a local consultant with the global resources of Marsh.

Key responsibilities

• Manage renewals and provide insurance advice on technical aspects and service support of new and renewal business, keeping existing accounts retained
• Communicate with internal and external clients
• Use the Sagitta Agency Management System and document management system
• Mentor associates and solve problems, including abstract reasoning
• Manage client accounts receivable and payables
• Apply good time management and organization

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Active and current Florida 2-20 insurance license
• 5 years of account management experience within an insurance agency
• Experience in a supervisory or team lead role
• Thorough knowledge of insurance terminology and products and their usage

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Excellent customer service and clear verbal and written communication

A Bachelor's degree and experience with Sagitta and/or ImageRight are a plus but not required.
