Business Instructor – Marketing Courses

About the role

We are seeking a Business Instructor to teach marketing and related business courses in both classroom and online settings. The successful candidate will create an engaging, inclusive learning environment and connect theory to real‑world practice.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, deliver, and continuously update syllabi and instructional materials for marketing courses.
• Teach courses in traditional, online, or hybrid formats, maintaining high student engagement.
• Assess student performance, maintain accurate records, and submit required reports.
• Advise students, support recruitment, and assist with job placement initiatives.
• Participate in curriculum development, departmental committees, and community activities.
• Hold regular office hours and provide timely support to students.

Required profile

• Master of Business Administration (MBA) or a master’s degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Marketing.
• Preferably two or more years of teaching experience at the secondary or post‑secondary level.
• Professional experience in marketing or a related business field is highly valued.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and adapt to evolving instructional technologies.

Required skills

• Experience with a learning management system, preferably D2L.
