Business Immigration Attorney (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Immigration Attorney to join a boutique law firm that serves innovative companies across California. This fully remote position offers autonomy, thoughtful client service, and the chance to work on sophisticated immigration matters for technology, AI, life‑sciences, and eSports firms.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of employment‑based immigration matters from strategy through filing and final resolution.
• Prepare and review complex legal submissions, including detailed responses to government requests.
• Advise corporate clients on immigration options aligned with workforce needs and long‑term goals.
• Oversee both non‑immigrant and immigrant visa matters, ensuring accurate deadlines and documentation.
• Supervise remote paralegals and support staff, delegating work and maintaining quality standards.
• Communicate regularly with clients and internal teams to provide updates and resolve issues.
• Provide legal analysis on specialized matters such as O‑1 and EB‑1 extraordinary ability cases.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of practice in business immigration law, preferably at a reputable firm.
• Active attorney license in a U.S. state and a bachelor’s degree.
• Proven ability to independently manage a substantial employment‑based caseload.
• Strong legal writing and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, accountable, and able to balance multiple priorities.
• Prior remote‑work experience and experience supervising paralegals or legal support staff.
• Willingness to provide a relevant writing sample during hiring.
• Familiarity with O‑1 and EB‑1 extraordinary ability or outstanding researcher matters is preferred.
