Business Graduate Programme (FTSE Russell)

About the role

The FTSE Russell Business Graduate Programme starts in September 2027 and offers a 12-month development journey aimed at building foundational skills for a career in global financial markets. Graduates join the FTSE Russell Division, which helps investors make better-informed decisions through indices and benchmarking solutions. The programme is open to graduates who finished their studies in 2026, or final-year undergraduates and Master's students who complete all course requirements before summer 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Take part in a 12-month development journey with a global induction covering LSEG, financial markets and the business.
• Attend divisional inductions and take part in group projects aligned to LSEG goals.
• Meet in person with the cohort at Ignite, the mid-point skills offsite.
• Earn industry-recognized qualifications, including five study days during the programme.
• Connect with the global early careers community and take part in CSR initiatives and volunteering.
• Be placed in a first rotation based on skills and interests, with a permanent position from day one.

Required profile

• Demonstrable interest in financial markets built through studies, work experience or extracurricular activities.
• Curiosity for data and the ability to analyse information and propose solutions.
• Strategic thinking, focus, resilience and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

What we offer

• Anticipated base salary of $62,800 - $104,600, depending on location, with eligibility for an annual incentive plan.
