Business Development Representative – North America (Hybrid)

About the role

Odoo is expanding its Channel Sales team in North America and is looking for a Business Development Representative to help grow its partner ecosystem. Based in Brisbane, CA, this hybrid role (four days onsite, one day remote) offers the chance to work with a leading open‑source ERP platform and engage with partners across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify potential partners that can integrate, resell, or develop solutions on Odoo’s platform.
• Initiate contact through outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
• Conduct discovery calls to assess prospects’ business models and alignment with Odoo’s partnership goals.
• Maintain a qualified pipeline and schedule meetings with key decision‑makers.
• Log all interactions in the CRM and keep detailed prospect records.
• Support the Partner Recruitment team during negotiations and partnership closures.
• Continuously develop industry knowledge in ERP, CRM, HCM, and POS sectors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication skills with a confident, engaging personality.
• Strong awareness of software trends and new technologies.
• Curiosity about how businesses operate and a desire to learn.
• 1+ years of experience in sales, marketing, lead generation, or a quota‑carrying role is a plus.
