Business Development Manager - Northeast U.S. Territory

About the role

Europe Express, a travel advisor partner since 1990 offering customized European travel, is hiring a Business Development Manager reporting to the Director of Business Development. You will own a defined Northeast U.S. territory and cultivate partnerships with Travel Advisors and agencies to grow bookings and revenue. The role is entrepreneurial and relationship-driven.

Key responsibilities

• Build and run a territory plan targeting high-potential agencies, Travel Advisors and local opportunities
• Prospect, reach out, schedule meetings and turn new relationships into revenue-generating partnerships
• Grow the number of productive Travel Advisors and increase bookings and revenue from existing partners
• Act as a visible resource through in-person visits, virtual consultations, product training and follow-up
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, agency meetings and FAM trips
• Work with the Strategic Account team on host and consortia opportunities
• Maintain a prospect and partner pipeline in HubSpot and track territory performance
• Partner with Marketing, Inside Sales, Product and Customer Experience to improve Travel Advisor engagement

Required profile

• Based in the Northeast territory (ME, NH, MA, CT, VT, NY, RI, PA, NJ, DE, MD, VA, WV, KY)
• Proven experience in sales, business development, account growth or a customer-facing commercial role
• Proactive, resourceful and able to prospect independently
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with good organizational skills and follow-through
• Willingness to travel regularly within the territory and occasionally to national events

Required skills

• Comfort using a CRM to manage a pipeline
• HubSpot experience is a plus

What we offer

• Base salary of $80,000 to $90,000 USD and OTE up to 25%
