Business Development Manager

About the role

BILL is seeking a front‑line leader to manage a fully remote outbound team of 10 Business Development Representatives. The role focuses on driving meeting bookings for Mid‑Market, Growth and Principal account executives and converting those opportunities into revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of 10 BDRs, maintaining high performance standards and accountability.
• Conduct weekly 1:1 coaching sessions, call scoring, and career development discussions.
• Run team huddles to review performance, forecasting and organizational updates.
• Collaborate with Marketing and AE leadership to improve lead quality, handoffs and opportunity conversion.
• Present team results on BDR forecasting calls and build repeatable playbooks, messaging and processes.

Required profile

• 2+ years of front‑line sales leadership with a hands‑on, high‑support management style.
• Proven ability to hold people accountable and tie leadership to measurable business outcomes.
• Strong partnership skills with Marketing, Sales leadership and Account Executives.
• Passion for developing people and creating clear promotion paths.
• Comfort using AI tools to enhance team effectiveness.

Required skills

• Experience with Salesforce.
• Experience with Outreach.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude or Gemini.
