Business Development Manager - Commercial Cleaning

About the role

A locally owned ServiceMaster franchise is looking for a driven, people-focused Business Development Manager to expand its commercial cleaning services in the Baton Rouge area. The role is full time and involves generating leads, running meetings with decision-makers and negotiating service agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Generate leads through outreach, networking, research and cold calls
• Schedule and run meetings with decision-makers
• Build strong relationships and present solutions and negotiate service agreements
• Scope projects and prepare estimates
• Maintain accounts and perform customer service and quality checks
• Track activities and pipeline in the CRM (HubSpot)
• Plan and forecast monthly and quarterly sales goals
• Stay aware of industry trends and competitor activity

Required profile

• 1+ year of outside sales experience; entry-level candidates with strong drive will be considered
• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record, with reliable transportation
• Successful background check and drug screening required

Required skills

• Experience with HubSpot or any CRM
• Microsoft 365
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Organized, self-motivated, goal-oriented, able to work independently under pressure

What we offer

• Base salary of $40,000-$50,000 per year, with OTE of $70,000-$90,000 and uncapped commission
