Business Development Account Manager

About the role

UPS is seeking a Business Development Account Manager to drive growth in the Rockford, IL and North West, IL territory. You will identify new business opportunities, build relationships with prospective clients, and deliver compelling value propositions for our logistics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and generate leads through cold calling, networking, and collaboration with marketing.
• Conduct presentations that highlight product features, benefits, and the overall value proposition.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activity to shape strategic sales plans.
• Negotiate terms, close deals, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams—including marketing, product development, and support—to provide a seamless client experience.

Required profile

• Proven success in B2B sales with a focus on new business acquisition.
• Strong understanding of logistics and ability to articulate value propositions.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to travel and relocate if necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
