Brine Facility Operator – Energy Storage Services

About the role

The Brine Facility Operator will run and maintain a solution‑mining facility for Gulf Companies’ Energy Storage Services client, ensuring safe, continuous operation of pumps, valves, pipelines and control systems.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct multiple daily rounds of salt cavern wells, disposal wells and related equipment to detect leaks, faulty pumps or valves.
• Start, stop and adjust pump speeds, align valves and perform routine maintenance.
• Operate the SCADA system to control leaching processes and generate basic operational reports.
• Coordinate with operations personnel, customers and vendors.
• Work rotating 24 × 7 shifts, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Follow written procedures, verbal commands from the Lead Operator and all Gulf safety and environmental protocols.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of field experience in industrial facility operations.
• Valid state driver’s licence.
• Availability for rotating shift work.
• General computer proficiency and strong written and verbal communication.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and Gulf’s health, safety, drug/alcohol and harassment policies.

Required skills

• Operation of SCADA control systems.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting of pneumatic, electronic and digital transmitters, controllers and switches.
• Preventative maintenance of pumps, valves and process instrumentation.
• Equipment operating and rigging certifications.
• Knowledge of ASME, API and ANSI codes (preferred).
