Brand Manager – Fashion & Lifestyle

About the role

The Brand Manager will drive Steve Madden’s evolution from a footwear leader into a cross‑category lifestyle brand, overseeing sub‑brands such as Madden Girl and Madden NYC. Based in our Long Island City office, the role sits at the intersection of product, marketing, creative, and partnerships to shape brand storytelling and growth initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the central connector across marketing, creative, merchandising, e‑commerce, and wholesale teams.
• Manage timelines, deliverables, and execution with high organization and urgency.
• Identify, develop, and launch strategic brand collaborations that generate buzz and acquire new customers.
• Act as liaison with external partners, ensuring alignment from concept through launch.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously and support special initiatives as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5–8+ years in brand management, marketing, or related fashion/retail roles.
• Proven track record developing and executing brand collaborations.
• Deep passion for fashion, trends, and culture.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.

• Base salary range $110,000–$120,000 per year.
