Brand Engagement Associate – Social Media Marketing

About the role

We are looking for a socially‑savvy Brand Engagement Associate to drive conversation, excitement, and organic love for a leading beauty and consumer products brand. The role is hybrid, requiring a minimum of three days per week in our New York office, and runs on a one‑year contract.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor social trends, viral moments, and cultural conversations across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
• Translate trending content into real‑time, brand‑right engagement opportunities.
• Execute influencer gifting and surprise‑and‑delight campaigns for creators and VIP talent.
• Support large‑scale product seeding programs to drive user‑generated content and brand visibility.
• Engage with online communities through comments and direct messages using a distinct brand voice.
• Identify and amplify high‑quality user‑generated content.
• Coordinate with internal marketing teams and influencer/PR agencies.
• Manage gifting inventory, product ordering, and mailing logistics.
• Track campaign effectiveness and gifting ROI.
