Brand Designer

About the role

Neros is a defense technology company building America's drone industrial base, designing and manufacturing high-performance unmanned systems. It is building a lean marketing organization of creatives and operators, and its Brand Designer sits within Marketing and is responsible for visual design execution across the company's marketing ecosystem. The role suits someone who wants to build a brand system and then execute through it, hands-on across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and evolve Neros' brand system, including how the visual identity translates across digital and physical surfaces
• Build and maintain brand assets in Figma, including illustration libraries, iconography, typography, layout styles and components
• Design across digital channels, partnering with the Web & Digital Experience Designer
• Lead lead design and layout of business development collateral such as product catalogs, one-pagers and client presentations
• Lead environmental design for events, trade shows, office spaces and out-of-home assets
• Lead merch design, including sample quality assurance and vendor design file hand-offs

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in brand design, preferably in defense, aerospace, robotics, tech or hardware
• Ability to manage a pipeline of design requests with varying complexity and urgency
• Ability to work from a brand platform, balancing brand guardrails with thoughtful design evolution
• Experience with automated workflows
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Nice to have: motion design, animation or illustration skills

What we offer

• Salary range of $111,000 - $155,000 USD (base salary only, actual varies by experience and other factors)
