About the role

Santander is seeking a Branch Operations Manager for its Madison Avenue location in Lakewood, NJ. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth, secure, and compliant branch operations while delivering a high‑quality customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily branch operations, including cash handling, vault and ATM custodianship, and lobby management.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to mitigate operational risk.
• Assist customers with deposits, withdrawals, payments, and resolve issues promptly.
• Support teller staff through coaching, feedback, and transaction accuracy monitoring.
• Maintain accurate cash counts, audit logs, and data‑driven performance reporting.
• Foster strong customer relationships and promote digital self‑service channels.
• Collaborate with nearby branches when business needs require additional support.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (required).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in bank branch operations or a similar financial services role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage risk controls and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
