Bolsa de Investigação – Smart Tourism Toolkit for UAV-based Live Flying Tour Experiences

About the role

The Institute opens a six‑month research scholarship to support work on the EU‑funded RESETTING project. The scholar will contribute to the Smart Tourism Tools work‑package, focusing on digital transformation and sustainability in tourism using UAV‑based live tour experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research and development activities related to the Smart Tourism Toolkit.
• Collaborate with the ISTAR‑Iscte research team and project partners.
• Prepare reports, documentation, and deliverables for Workpackage 3.
• Participate in meetings and present findings to the project consortium.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a master’s degree program at a recognized higher‑education institution.
• Eligibility to work in Portugal (EU, third‑country nationals, stateless or refugees accepted).
• Strong academic record and motivation for research in tourism, digital technologies, or sustainability.
