Boiler Technician – Commercial/Industrial HVAC

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Boiler Technician to join our HVAC team in Raleigh, NC. The successful candidate will install, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial heating systems up to 1,000 tons, ensuring reliable performance for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair boilers, rooftop units, and associated control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and detailed equipment inspections.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and engineering specifications to diagnose issues.
• Repair control systems, refrigeration circuits, and mechanical components on site.
• Maintain accurate service records, including parts used and labor time.
• Provide technical support and training to customers, and recommend upgrades or repairs.
• Assist and mentor apprentices as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of commercial/industrial HVAC boiler service experience.
• Associate degree or trade certification in HVAC, or equivalent experience.
• EPA Universal Certification (required).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Ability to work independently, follow safety protocols, and solve problems on the spot.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
