About the role
White Earth Tribal and Community College is seeking dedicated individuals to serve on its Board of Trustees. This is a volunteer position that involves guiding the college’s governance, policy development, and strategic direction.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in regular monthly board meetings to discuss and approve policies, procedures, and strategic initiatives.
- Provide oversight and guidance to ensure effective governance and alignment with the college’s mission.
Required profile
- Must be an enrolled member or lineal descendant of the White Earth Reservation.
- Hold a bachelor's degree, or have experience in Indian education, public education, be an elder, community at‑large, or a college alumnus.
