BMW Service Technician – Automotive Repair

About the role

The Tom Bush Family of Dealerships is seeking a skilled BMW Service Technician to join its award‑winning automotive service team in Jacksonville. The successful candidate will perform precise repairs, diagnose vehicle issues, and ensure every BMW leaves the shop meeting the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute repair tasks outlined on repair orders with precision, following dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnose vehicle malfunctions and perform necessary repairs to restore optimal performance.
• Collaborate with the parts department to obtain required components promptly.
• Inspect vehicles for additional safety concerns or service needs.
• Document all work performed accurately and conduct road tests when needed.
• Participate in factory‑sponsored training to stay current with BMW technologies.
• Comply with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Previous automotive technician experience (dealership experience preferred).
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with attention to detail and safety.
• Physical capability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Team‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• ASE certification (preferred).
• Vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting.
