Billing Operations Manager

About the role

Raventra Health is seeking a Billing Operations Manager to lead billing operations for provider and hospital clients. The role ensures accurate claim preparation, timely submission, and efficient revenue cycle support in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily billing operations for assigned provider and hospital accounts, monitoring claim volume, accuracy, and turnaround times.
• Lead and support billing team members, coordinating workloads, managing performance, and providing coaching.
• Review and improve billing workflows to reduce errors and increase efficiency.
• Coordinate with coding, claims, payment posting, AR, and denials teams to resolve billing issues and support client escalations.
• Prepare operational reports and communicate performance, risks, and improvement opportunities to leadership.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in medical billing, revenue cycle management, or healthcare operations.
• Proven experience leading or supervising a medical billing team.
• Strong understanding of claim submission, payer requirements, and reimbursement processes.
• Ability to investigate billing issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.

Required skills

• Knowledge of CMS-1500 and UB-04 claim forms and electronic claims submission.
• Familiarity with Epic, Athena, or eClinicalWorks practice management systems.
