Billing Advocate

About the role

The Billing Advocate at Revecore supports hospitals by processing and following up on medical claims to ensure timely reimbursement. This remote position works within a collaborative, innovation‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Submit medical claims to insurance companies promptly for processing.
• Follow up with payers to validate hospital or physician status forms during adjudication.
• Track unpaid claims within standard billing cycles and contact insurers regarding payments, denials, and EOBs.
• Identify and bill secondary or tertiary insurances.
• Respond to patient and insurer inquiries related to assigned accounts.
• Balance new work and follow‑up accounts within workload.

Required profile

• Prior experience with insurance claims preferred but not required.
• Administrative or clerical office experience preferred.
• Minimum one year of office and customer‑service experience.
• Ability to handle a high volume of accounts with attention to detail.
• Self‑motivated, organized, and capable of effective telephone and written communication.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
