Bilingual Research Specialist IV

About the role

The Bilingual Research Specialist IV will support the Healthy Living program within Texas A&M AgriLife’s Institute for Advancing Health Through Agriculture (IHA). Working under general supervision, the specialist collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to advance community‑engaged research that promotes health and reduces chronic disease.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement research projects aligned with the Healthy Living program’s objectives.
• Provide technical, operational, and financial support for program activities.
• Manage administrative tasks, including budgeting, reporting, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate data collection, analysis, and dissemination.
• Support community outreach and education initiatives related to nutrition, agriculture, and healthy living.

Required profile

• Highly organized, proactive, and detail‑oriented.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced academic/research environment.
• Professional discretion and independent judgment.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary research teams.
