Bilingual Immigration Paralegal / Declarations Writer (English-Spanish)

About the role

Mangone Law Firm, a New Jersey-based immigration law firm founded in 2012, is hiring a bilingual (English-Spanish) Immigration Paralegal and/or Declarations Writer. The role is fully remote and focuses on preparing client declarations and supporting immigration cases such as VAWA, T Visa, U Visa and family-based petitions.

Key responsibilities

• Drafting and taking client declarations
• Preparing middle-role legal packets, including cover letters, correspondence and forms, based on templates and case details
• Research and information gathering, and learning and applying internal processes
• Client communication and collaborative teamwork

Required profile

• Bilingual (English-Spanish)
• At least 6 months of experience in humanitarian immigration cases (VAWA, T Visa, U Visa, family-based)
• Experience taking declarations and drafting legal documents
• Ability to write clearly, concisely and accurately

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of immigration legal documents, processes and workflows
• Strong written drafting, grammar, syntax and legal style
• Attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Quickly learning new processes and workflows
