About the role

Join a fast‑growing New Jersey immigration law firm as a Bilingual Immigration Junior Paralegal. You will support humanitarian immigration matters, working directly with Spanish‑speaking clients to gather information, draft documents, and ensure accurate case processing.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and take client declarations for humanitarian cases (VAWA, T Visa, U Visa).
• Conduct legal research and gather supporting information.
• Learn and apply internal workflows and immigration processes.
• Communicate with clients in both English and Spanish, providing clear updates.
• Collaborate with attorneys and team members to ensure case accuracy.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months experience handling humanitarian immigration cases.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Spanish.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing case requirements.

Required skills

• Bilingual English–Spanish.
• Legal document drafting.
• Client declaration taking.
• Basic knowledge of immigration legal documents, processes, and workflows.
• Humanitarian immigration case handling (VAWA, T Visa, U Visa).
