Bilingual Immigration Attorney

About the role

Alonso & Alonso Attorneys at Law PLLC is seeking a bilingual immigration attorney to join its team. The role can be based in a hybrid setting in San Antonio, TX, or performed remotely from other states. You will provide comprehensive legal representation across a wide range of immigration matters.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement creative legal strategies for family‑based, employment‑based, humanitarian, and removal‑defense cases.
• Represent clients in USCIS interviews, immigration court hearings, and other legal proceedings.
• Prepare, review, and file petitions, applications, motions, briefs, and supporting evidence.
• Conduct legal research and stay current on immigration law changes.
• Collaborate with paralegals and fellow attorneys to manage high‑volume caseloads.
• Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with firm and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active bar license in good standing, preferably in Texas.
• Strong legal writing, research, and advocacy abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for hearings.
