Behaviour & Inclusion Mentor (Full‑time Temporary)

About the role

The Supply Register Ltd is recruiting a Behaviour & Inclusion Mentor for William Lovell Academy, starting September 2026. The role is full‑time during term time, Monday‑Friday, and focuses on supporting pupils who face challenges with behaviour, attendance, confidence or emotional wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver one‑to‑one and small‑group mentoring sessions to pupils.
• Work with teaching and pastoral staff to develop personalised strategies that remove barriers to learning.
• Monitor, record and report on pupil progress and wellbeing.
• Promote positive behaviour, inclusion and resilience across the school community.
• Collaborate with safeguarding, pastoral and teaching teams to ensure a safe environment.

Required profile

• Experience working with young people in education, youth work, coaching or similar settings.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with pupils and staff.
• Strong communication and behaviour‑management skills.
• Patient, proactive and resilient attitude.
• Good organisational and record‑keeping abilities.

• Effective interpersonal communication.

• Basic record‑keeping and reporting.

What we offer

• Daily rate of £95‑£115, dependent on experience.
• Fixed‑term contract for the academic year, with the possibility of extension.
• 8:30 am‑3:30 pm schedule, term‑time only.
