About the role

Grotto AI is building a behavior‑change platform that helps leasing agents have more genuine, high‑impact conversations. As a Behavioral Scientist you will apply rigorous research methods to understand how agents change their habits and how those changes affect lease conversions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, execute, and analyze experiments that measure the impact of product interventions on agent behavior and customer outcomes.
• Identify the causal mechanisms behind successful nudges, habit‑formation tactics, and feedback loops.
• Translate research findings into clear product recommendations and collaborate with engineering to implement them.
• Develop and maintain frameworks for thinking about behavior change across the Grotto platform.

Required profile

• 3+ years applying behavioral science or psychology in a product or applied‑research setting.
• At least 1 year of experience at an early‑stage or growth‑stage startup.
• Strong expertise in habit formation, nudges, motivation, feedback loops, and cognitive biases.
• Ability to communicate technical findings to non‑technical stakeholders.
