Behavioral Health Therapist – Associate Level

About the role

Mindoula Health’s Collaborative Care Program is expanding to Oregon and seeks an Associate‑Level Behavioral Health Therapist. You will work within a team‑based model that integrates behavioral health into primary care, providing short‑term, evidence‑based interventions to adults with chronic medical and behavioral needs.

Key responsibilities

• Screen and assess patients for mental health and substance‑use disorders.
• Deliver brief, evidence‑based interventions (e.g., behavioral activation, problem‑solving therapy, motivational interviewing).
• Support medication adherence and monitor side effects.
• Provide education, self‑management support, and track clinical response via in‑person, video, or phone visits.
• Document care in the EHR according to Collaborative Care workflows and participate in weekly psychiatric case consultations.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or related field.
• Associate‑level license (CSWA, PCA, LMFTA, or QMHP) and at least 3 years of experience with adult populations.
• Located in Oregon and able to work a hybrid schedule (2‑3 days onsite in Eugene).

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Experience using telehealth platforms and multiple technology applications.
