Behavior Technician - In Center & In Home

About the role

Asteri Behavioral Treatment Center (ABTC) is hiring Behavior Technicians in Redlands to deliver one-on-one ABA therapy in clients' homes and at the center. Sessions focus on helping children with autism and other developmental disabilities reach individualized goals in communication, social skills, behavior and daily living. Paid training, mentorship and clinical support are provided.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy in clients' homes
• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA
• Teach communication, social, play, self-help and daily living skills
• Reduce challenging behaviors using positive, evidence-based strategies
• Collect accurate session data and complete clinical documentation
• Collaborate with supervising clinicians and communicate professionally with families and caregivers
• Attend ongoing training and team meetings

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor's degree preferred)
• Available at least 15 hours per week, afternoon/evening shifts between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license and current auto insurance and registration
• Willing to travel up to 25 miles from home for sessions
• Experience working with children is a plus but not required
