Behavior Technician (BHT) – Per Diem

About the role

NeurAbilities Healthcare is seeking a Per Diem Behavior Technician (BHT) to work one‑to‑one with children and adolescents in clinic, home, or school settings. The position offers flexible, appointment‑based scheduling and paid training, allowing you to make a meaningful impact while advancing your career in Applied Behavior Analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Implement ABA interventions under the supervision of a Board‑Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
• Assist clients in developing communication, social, and independent living skills.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver consistent support.
• Follow individualized treatment plans and educate others about ABA strategies.
• Collect and maintain accurate data, manage client materials, and foster therapeutic relationships.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred experience of at least six months working with children or adolescents with autism or other developmental disabilities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to stay calm in challenging situations.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to multiple service locations.
