Beach Club Attendant

About the role

Join the Mauna Lani resort team as a Beach Club Attendant, where you will create a welcoming and pampered experience for guests on the beautiful Kohala Coast. You will be the friendly face of the beach area, ensuring comfort, safety, and memorable moments for visitors of all ages.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain beach areas, including chairs, lounges, halaus, and cabanas, keeping them clean and properly set up throughout the day.
• Greet guests, provide amenities, and assist with beach equipment rentals and activities.
• Monitor safety conditions, post safety signs, and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Lead and participate in beach activities for guests of all ages.
• Maintain cleanliness of beach stations, glassware, and surrounding areas.
• Support food and beverage service from the beach food truck when required.
• Perform regular checks on beach equipment and report any issues promptly.
• Stay informed about hotel amenities, local attractions, and current events to share relevant information with guests.
• Follow opening and closing procedures for the beach area and perform other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma preferred; any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Previous pool and beach safety experience is advantageous.
• American Red Cross certification in First Aid, AED, and CPR preferred; Lifeguard certification recommended.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lb, swim 50 yd, and work in varied outdoor weather conditions.
• Availability for all shifts and hours.
