Barista Part-Time

About the role

Provide quality barista services in accordance with guest service and sustainability standards at The Dalmar hotel. This part‑time position involves taking orders, preparing coffee and other beverages, and ensuring a clean, well‑stocked service area.

Key responsibilities

• Take coffee, beverage and food orders, input them into the POS system, collect payment and prepare orders.
• Maintain coffee cart areas and tables, stock and clean workstations, and perform opening and closing duties.
• Handle cash, count bank at shift end, complete cashier reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Follow all state, federal and corporate food and alcohol regulations, as well as safety, security and sustainability policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience preferred; barista experience a plus.

Required skills

• Operation of point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Basic cash handling and reconciliation.
