About the role

PwC is seeking a Banking & Capital Markets Tax Senior Manager to provide strategic tax advice, compliance and planning for our banking and capital‑markets clients. You will guide businesses through complex tax regulations, optimise their tax positions and ensure full compliance while leading high‑performing, diverse teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead tax compliance projects for banking and capital‑markets clients, ensuring regulatory adherence.
• Analyse financial data, prepare and file accurate tax returns, and minimise non‑compliance risk.
• Develop and implement tax strategies that optimise client tax positions.
• Coach, mentor and motivate teams in tax planning and compliance.
• Collaborate with clients to validate outcomes and incorporate feedback.
• Apply systems thinking to identify underlying tax challenges and opportunities.
• Draft and review tax documentation supporting compliance and planning.
• Monitor financial trends to deliver strategic tax advice.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Promote inclusion and diversity within the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher).
• Minimum 6 years of relevant tax experience.
• Professional credential such as CPA, Bar membership or equivalent finance‑related qualification.
• Advanced expertise in corporate tax planning and regulatory compliance for the banking sector.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proven experience leading teams and managing complex projects.
