Bank Teller – Frankston

About the role

Austin Bank is seeking a dedicated Bank Teller to join its Frankston branch. The role involves delivering high‑quality customer service while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements for financial transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, process deposits, withdrawals, and cash advances.
• Verify checks, handle cash drawer, and maintain required cash limits.
• Prepare and submit Currency Transaction Reports and Suspicious Activity Reports as required.
• Promote and sell bank products such as travelers checks, money orders, and cashier’s checks.
• Process night depositories, ATM deposits, wire transfers, EFTPS payments, and utility bill payments.
• Assist customers with debit‑card disputes and account inquiries.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation in accordance with the Bank Secrecy Act.
• Participate in team meetings, uphold bank values, and stay informed on company communications.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, especially the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Customer Identification Program (CIP).
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on building customer relationships.
• Commitment to ethical conduct, confidentiality, and integrity.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to continuously develop personal skills through training.
