Bank Teller – Customer Service & Cash Handling

About the role

Santander is seeking a friendly and reliable Bank Teller to join its Methuen branch. In this customer‑focused role you will handle daily cash transactions, provide banking advice, and support the branch’s operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, minimize wait times and address their banking needs.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers and maintain accurate cash drawer balances.
• Adhere to all bank policies, compliance and risk‑management procedures.
• Identify and refer product solutions, cross‑sell services and promote digital self‑service tools.
• Assist with audits, custodial duties and other operational tasks as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and support nearby branches when needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months cash‑handling experience.
• Minimum 6 months demonstrated customer‑service experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work branch hours, including evenings and weekends.
