Full-Time Teller – Methuen, MA

About the role

Santander is seeking a friendly and reliable teller to join its Methuen branch. You will be the first point of contact for customers, providing essential banking services while upholding the bank’s standards for security and service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers, minimize wait times, and assist with a full range of banking needs.
• Process transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and transfers accurately.
• Handle cash, maintain precise cash‑drawer balances, and follow cash‑handling procedures.
• Adhere to all compliance, risk‑management, and fraud‑prevention policies.
• Identify cross‑selling opportunities and refer customers to appropriate products.
• Educate customers on digital self‑service tools.
• Support custodial duties, audits, and other operational tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist nearby branches when required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of cash‑handling experience.
• Minimum 6 months of demonstrated customer‑service experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective listening and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible branch hours, including evenings and weekends.
